Day 115 - Back On Track!

Well I did retire to my sleeping chamber with a veg pack & choc pudding and st Clement's custard. I drank more water and thumbed through my weight loss book to remind myself how much weight I had lost since 8th March!

62.3lbs
I am pleased I did not have even the healthy option, but must say although I was having an adult conversation with myself and David in a calm manner, it sort of felt like a scene playing from Jekyll and Hyde in my head and I was not sure at the begining who was going to win.
Reading the Management books made a lot of sense and the food choices were spot on for the types of things I would love to eat. At this stage my first protein on Management will be Salmon and it will be nice to be able to venture into a supermarket again and look at food knowing I can eat some of it.
I have even worked out that by week 5 alcohol will be introduced just in time for my holiday. The only thing well down the line I am potentially bothered about is cheese. I am not sat dreaming about it, but know there will be all types on the half board buffet in Spain. Will perhaps cross that bridge when come to it.
Today I have a pile of washing to do, then sort and put away and get everybody's school/nursery/work bags ready. Will try and get it done this morning so the girls and I can do something together. David will be working most of the day at the house.
OK, let me begin the challenge that is the clothing mountain.

Such an achienvement, Sam - 62lbs, that's a whisker off of 41/2stone. Absolutely bxxxxy brilliant. I'm made up for you. It's a pity there are no B&A shots - you must be so proud of yourself though (I'm sure David must be).

I'm glad you didn't succumb to the Indian Takeaway. You would probably have coped admirably, but you have come such a long way, even keeping away from the birthday buffet last weekend, and it would be so upsetting to give up on the final stretch.

I hope you do really well in Management.

Good luck, my dear.....Chris x

Hi there Sam! I've just caught up with your blog since my return from hols. I'm so impressed by your achievements. Not just the 62lbs which is faaaatastic but also the mental side to things. Resisting etc. You seem to have really blossomed and must feel like a new woman. Not to mention that David has actually got himself a new woman!

Well done I'm so pleased for you and let us know what Management is like, I think you're the first to get there unless I've missed something.

Hi Sam

Congratulations on the 62 pounds, that is a fantastic achievement.. I have to say (probably shouldn't) I succumbed to an Indian take away two weeks ago and did not confess on my blog and I have to say it was awful, full of grease and I felt stogy and horrible for three days after. Well done you, it may have been awful anyway and... Indian takeaway will still be there when you're through management although you probably won't want it by then!

Well done and good luck

Claire :o)
